No prior lecturing experience or training qualifications required. We are looking for people who have current industry knowledge and experience, and would enjoy sharing their expertise to equip those aspiring to enter the industry. We'll help you with the rest and even provide support and assistance for obtaining your Training and Assessment qualification.
We are establishing an open pool for vacancies that arise. We may offer permanent or fixed term, full time, part time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and/or permanency.
About the role
We are currently seeking candidates with experience and expertise in Rail Infrastructure to plan, develop and deliver training and assessment to students in this study area.
The lecturer's primary role is to teach, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and/or training package requirements. Lecturers also undertake Professional Activities and Activities Related to Delivery. In order to maintain quality educational services, lecturers are required to keep abreast of technological and other developments in their field through professional development to provide up-to-date information and advice to the College and industry, where appropriate.
To be eligible for employment you must hold a qualification in Rail Infrastructure or completion of units of competency towards a qualification. We also require that you have experience in the Rail industry.

* Up to $102,211 salary
* An additional 5% salary under a Flexible Hours Arrangement
* 37.5 hour working week, with 21 hours teaching across 40 weeks of the year
* 7.5 hours can be worked off campus for non-teaching time each week
