Job Description
You will be the primary finance contact for the site, working closely with the Site Manager and senior stakeholders. Your responsibilities will span day‐to‐day bookkeeping (70%) through to management reporting and board‐level interaction (30%), including:
* End‐to‐end finance ownership: bookkeeping, payroll, AP, AR, and reconciliations
* Ensuring invoicing and systems (Xero, warehouse systems) run smoothly and efficiently
* Preparing monthly financials and supporting year‐end reporting
* Budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
* Weekly KPI and performance reporting for leadership and directors
* Supporting operational decision‐making with clear financial insights
* Working closely with operations to ensure export documentation and compliance processes are aligned
The Successful Applicant
You're someone who enjoys being hands‐on, proactive, and accountable. You see gaps, fix them, and take pride in running a tight finance operation.
You will likely have:
* A background in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping (commercial experience essential)
* Experience running end‐to‐end finance in a small to medium business
* Confidence preparing budgets, management reports, and weekly KPIs
* Strong systems experience (Xero highly regarded)
* The ability to work autonomously and take ownership
* A practical, down‐to‐earth communication style suited to an operational site
* Initiative, curiosity, and ambition to grow with the business long term
