This role offers an opportunity to work closely with families and carers, providing support through mental health challenges.
You will draw on your personal experience to partner with individuals, families, and friends, offering one-on-one guidance around key areas of challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting families and carers through mental health challenges
* Facilitating network meetings and delivering training programs to strengthen carers' ability to sustain their caring role
Requirements:
* Personal lived experience of caring for someone with mental health challenges or psychosocial distress
* Certificate IV/Diploma in Mental Health, AOD, or tertiary qualification in social science
* Relevant work experience in the mental health sector or peer support training
