As a Pound Attendant at our Point Cook facility, you will assist in providing animal retrieval services to the Wyndham community. Your role involves working with stray and wandering cats and dogs, assessing their needs and treating them accordingly.
* Impounding of stray/wandering animals including cats and dogs
* Providing husbandry for impounded animals which may include feeding cleaning exercising and monitoring their health
In addition to these tasks as a Pound Attendant you will be expected to interact effectively with customers members of the public who visit the pound,
and provide information regarding responsible pet ownership.
You must have experience or knowledge related field such as TAFE certificate in Animal Husbandry livestock care domestic animal handling etc You should also possess good communication skills customer
