About the role
Emerging Therapeutics is seeking experienced Pain or Rehabilitation specialist physicians to join our team in a Telehealth/Work From Home role. We are a national provider of medicinal cannabis consulting services. As a specialist in this field, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality virtual care to patients across Australia. What you'll be doing
- Conduct virtual consultations and telehealth appointments with patients
- Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for a range of pain management and rehabilitation needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in your specialty and implement evidence-based practices
- Contribute to the development and improvement of our virtual care delivery models
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records in line with regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
- Registration as a specialist Pain or Rehabilitation physician with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Substantial experience (5+ years) in providing specialist care in pain management or rehabilitation
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, patient-centred care through telehealth or other virtual care modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage patients virtually
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
