Working 7 days on, 7 days off working nightshift, dayshift roster, be a part of the experienced maintenance team of over 60+ people.
Reporting to the Maintenance Foreman, our Underground Fitters are responsible for quality preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs to our heavy mobile fleet consisting of modern Sandvik development & production rigs, Sandvik load & haul fleet, Normet charge rigs, Volvo IT's, various ancillary plant & RCT remote control systems.
The mobile plant maintenance workshop facility boasts an impressive 6 bay steel structured workshop with 2 x overhead cranes and service pit. We currently carry $4+ Million worth of parts & consumables in our dedicated maintenance store situated centrally to the workshop. There is also a separate Light Vehicle workshop & dedicated boilermaker facility in close proximity to the main workshop.
**Requirements**:
- Relevant Australian recognised Trade Certificate.
- Previous experience on underground equipment.
- Quality workmanship with excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills.
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety.
- Highly motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Ability to work in a team environment with a positive work ethic
- Current "C" Class WA Drivers Licence.
- Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC).
- ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence & Tyre fitting qualifications are also highly desirable
