Seeking someone to help feed and attend to the daily care of our animals, as well as do the daily maintenance of the grounds to our family amusement centre.
You need to be very comfortable around animals and be able to carry & use a heavy commercial backpack blower, understand mixing 2 stroke petrol etc. Role is varied with many odd jobs to do, but most important is the care of the farm animals and jobs like feeding and scooping up poo.
That said, we need someone that is super reliable that the animals can depend on, has common sense and would consider themselves a little bit handy. The shifts are typically 3 to 4 hours starting in the morning, preferably 5 days Monday to Friday.
You MUST have transport or be able to get dropped off as the nearest bus stop is a 20-25 minute walk with poor service on weekends. We are NOT able to sponsor visas so this position is for permanent residents only. We do not pay cash in hand so don't ask.
