About This Opportunity
Join the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work as an Administration Assistant and play a key role in supporting students and academics in a rewarding and purpose‐driven environment. Working as part of a collaborative and service‐focused team, you will provide high‐quality administrative support across a range of student and academic processes, helping to ensure the smooth day‐to‐day operation of the School.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‐quality administrative and operational support across a range of academic and student administration activities, including assessment extensions, examination preparation and grade processing.
* Coordinate meetings, events and day‐to‐day administrative activities, ensuring the smooth operation of the School and compliance with established procedures.
* Deliver responsive and professional support to students, staff and external stakeholders, managing enquiries and providing accurate information and guidance.
* Maintain and update records, systems and databases, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of information.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the effective delivery of administrative services across the School.
About You
You are a highly organised and customer‐focused administrator who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. You have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities with confidence.
Qualifications
* A Certificate IV or Diploma qualification with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
* Demonstrated experience providing high‐quality customer service in a fast‐paced environment.
* Strong organisational and time‐management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative, sound judgement and a proactive approach.
* An understanding of, or the ability to quickly develop knowledge of, student and academic administration processes and practices.
