About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Third-Party Risk Manager to join our team in Brisbane or Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading a new risk management function within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective third-party risk management strategies and frameworks
* Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on third-party risk management best practices
* Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with third-party vendors
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to third-party risk management
* Contribute to the development and implementation of risk-based policies and procedures
Requirements
* Masters degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
* Minimum 10 years' experience in risk management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
* Demonstrated expertise in third-party risk management, including vendor due diligence and risk assessment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and make informed decisions
