Hoozoom MR Pty Ltd, along with the other four associated businesses, forms a well-known group of independently owned and operated motels in Queensland. The group runs a total of 6 motels, covering famous beaches and scenic spots such as Labrador and Mermaid on the Gold Coast suburb.
The subject property is one of our comfortable budget complexes located adjacent to the beautiful Broadwater and close to all amenities, steps away from the beach, parks, restaurants, bottle shop, convenience store, transport etc. There is large swimming pool with BBQ and entertainment area, and Secure undercover parking, guests laundry and Tour Desk. We are at the main road and it's convenient to take by bus to all Theme Parks and shopping centres.
It is 100 meters from the Broadwater in Labrador, 5 minutes' drive from Main Beach, and 10 minutes' drive from Surfers Paradise. Gold Coast Airport is a 40-minute drive away. It has all the Gold Coast offers, within easy reach. Its central location means that guests are just 20 minutes to any of the Coasts major tourist attractions.
Now our group is looking for an experienced
Hospitality Group Duty & Venue Manager
in QLD. The qualified candidate will insist our team focus on excellence and continuous improvement by creating a memorable atmosphere for guests and adopting a deep local understanding of the guest journey.

AUD83,000+ super / per year
Requirements:
Above Diploma qualification in relation to media or Hospitality Management is a must;
Minimum of five years full-time relevant work experience in a client-orientation service industry as a Hospitality Group Duty & Venue Manager;
Minimum of five years of experience in a management role and hands-on experience in customer service or sales;
Fluent in oral English and Mandarin or Japanese, be able to work in bilingual fast-paced working environment;
Solid understanding of hospitality procedures and best practices;
Excellent organisational and leadership skills;
Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills;
Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner and exhibit good judgment;
As this role requires management and supervision of all motel operational areas within our group, additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following detailed responsibilities:
Roles and Responsibility:
Oversee daily venue operations, ensure smooth service and an exceptional guest experience.
Lead, motivate and manage front-of-house staff, including rostering, training, and performance management.
Maintain compliance with health & safety, and relevant legislation.
Coordinate functions, events, and special activities in collaboration with other departments.
Monitor financial performance including budgets, cost control, and revenue targets.
Ensure the venue is clean, well-presented, and operates to the highest standards at all times.
Build strong relationships with members, guests, suppliers, and the local community.
Drive a strong, people-first culture across the group – ensuring consistency in standards, compliance, and guest experience.
Evaluating the current processes for Hoozoom MR Pty Ltd functions including enquiries, bookings and follow-up; and in consultation with the General Manager, streamline the procedures.
Supervising security arrangements, and garden and property maintenance within the six motel venues especially for the public area.
Formulate the whole group promotion and advertising strategy, implement the policy or strategy into each stage and period.
Be familiar and sensitive to the market development trend and customers' preference.
Ensure Motel credit and cashiering policies and procedures are adhered to for all in-house guests and monitored daily.
Directing and overseeing reservation, reception, room service and housekeeping activities.
Establishes challenging, realistic and obtainable goals to guide operation and performance.
Utilises interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example.
