Connect2Group is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting people with disability through personalised, client-focused services. As a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider and accredited Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) provider, we have proudly served the community for over 30 years.
We are currently looking for Casual Support Workers to join our Day Program Team in Wellington Point. C2G Lifestyle Options Day Programs empower participants through hands‑on, engaging, and inclusive experiences. Each 12‑week program cycle is designed to build independence, strengthen communication, and support everyday living skills, all while fostering friendship, fun, and meaningful community involvement.
Our programs offer a dynamic mix of creative workshops, life-skills development, and community-based activities, delivered alongside trained professionals. Each session blends hands-on learning, teamwork, and personal growth in a supportive and encouraging environment.
We are looking for passionate staff who are excited to help deliver programs such as cooking, dance, music, art, fitness, and more! People who enjoy motivating others while being part of a positive, collaborative team.
You will be:
* Transport participants and ensuring timely pick-ups and drop-offs.
* Provide one-on-one and group support tailored to individual needs.
* Facilitate group activities including karaoke, dance, arts and crafts, and cooking programs.
* Groups outings in the community
* Assist with in home personal care while maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect.
* Maintain accurate records and complete incident reports within designated timeframes.
* Deliver support services based on participants needs, preferences, and level of independence, within established guidelines.
* Support participants to work towards and achieve their NDIS goal-oriented tasks.
To be successful in this role you need to have the following:
* Demonstrated experience working with complex behaviours.
* Understanding of autism, intellectual disabilities and speech related disorders.
* Previous experience in art, dance, fitness, or cooking, anything that we could utilise in facilitating the day programs is highly regarded.
* Previous experience in Childcare, Personal Training, Hospitality is highly regarded
* Physically fit and willing to engage in social and outdoor activities.
* Be passionate, outgoing and caring.
* Excellent communication skills including maintaining privacy and confidentiality of the client.
* Certificate III Individual Support (highly regarded).
* Current valid Australian driver’s licence.
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to being offered employment.
* A completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module or be willing to obtain.
* Have a current Blue Card and Yellow Card/NDIS Disability Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain this prior to being offered employment.
