What does the job look like?
As a Full Stack Developer in our Portal Development Team, you’ll be responsible for the technical design, build, and maintenance of our customer-facing web application. You’ll work across both frontend and backend to deliver seamless user experiences, while helping to design and grow our AWS-hosted solution. You’ll collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that drive business value.
You’ll be hands-on with React, Node.js, Javascript/Typescript, and Prisma, and manage cloud data warehousing solutions (Snowflake and Postgres). You’ll also design and implement AWS serverless infrastructure, troubleshoot and debug code, and ensure our customers have a great UI/UX experience. This role is onsite at Linfox HQ in Essendon Fields.
Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain the customer-facing portal using React, Node.js, Javascript/Typescript, and Prisma.
- Manage and optimise Snowflake and Postgres cloud data warehousing solutions.
- Design, implement, and manage AWS serverless infrastructure (Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).
- Provide technical oversight and contribute to product decisions.
- Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure high-quality, high-performance user experiences.
- Write unit tests and maintain code quality using best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor team members.
- Ensure excellent UI/UX for customers.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs for smooth data flow.
- Support and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.

We’re looking for a talented developer with a passion for building scalable, data-driven applications and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You’ll bring solid technical capability, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
The ideal candidate can demonstrate:
- 2+ years’ proven experience as a Full Stack Developer (React v16.8+, Node.js, Javascript/Typescript, Prisma).
- Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.).
- Experience with Snowflake and Postgres or similar cloud data platforms.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub).
- Experience with state management in React or similar tools.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs.
- Nice to have: Experience developing and optimising Chatbots and Notification Frameworks, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks, previous experience building data-driven applications at scale.
