* Commence works with carpenters on a trial basis on site
* Gain hands-on experience in carpentry through on-the-job training with qualified carpenters.
* Learn various carpentry skills, such as framing, installing fixtures, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
* Review Drawings, codes, and instructions to understand project requirements.
* Work out material quantities needed for projects to ensure efficient use of resources.
* Ensure accurate and high-quality workmanship in your work
* Review each job to ensure good quality work as your work progresses.
* Adhere to safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
* Communicate with your supervisors, colleagues, and clients to provide updates on project progress.
* Upon completion, progress to a fully qualified carpenter.
To be successful in this role you must have:
* Eligibility to work in Australia (Permanent residency)
* The ability to transport yourself and your tools to and from work/training sites. (a driver's license is a mandatory requirement)
* Candidates must have a Construction Industry White Card prior to commencement
* Good standard of English is required
