With a strong reputation for quality, safety, and customer care, our team is growing, and we are seeking a highly organised and proactive HR & Administration Officer to support our people, customers, and operations. This role is critical to ensuring smooth day-to-day administration, effective communication between office and field teams, and strong HR compliance across the business.

About the Role
The HR & Administration Officer will be responsible for a broad range of administrative, HR, and coordination duties.

Key Responsibilities
Administration & Office Support
* Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and general enquiries
* Act as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and employees
* Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems
* Coordinate communication between office staff, field technicians, and management
* Support general office administration and day-to-day operations
Scheduling & Operations Support
* Schedule works and coordinate job calendars with technicians and project teams
* Assist with job creation, workflow tracking, and updates within SimPRO (preferred)
* Liaise with customers regarding scheduling, job progress, and documentation
* Submit and track applications with Ergon Energy and other relevant authorities
* Support project documentation and compliance requirements
Human Resources & Compliance
* Manage HR administration including onboarding, contracts, staff records, and compliance tracking
* Maintain employee documentation, training records, and leave management
* Support recruitment processes including advertising roles, coordinating interviews, and candidate communication
* Assist management with HR reporting and workforce administration
* Support WHS and HR systems such as Worx Safety (or similar platforms)
Finance & General Support (Secondary)
* Assist with basic invoicing, payroll support, and administrative finance tasks as required
* Support accurate record-keeping and internal reporting

About You
* Proven experience in administration, HR support, or office coordination (trade or construction industry experience highly regarded)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Professional, approachable, and confident liaising with customers and staff
* High attention to detail and strong time management skills
* Experience with Xero, SimPRO, and HR/WHS platforms (highly desirable but not essential)
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently within a team environment
