A Day in the Life of a Support Worker
We support individuals to live independent and active lives. As a Support Worker with our organisation, you will provide daily assistance to clients, enabling them to maintain their dignity and independence.
Your tasks may include:
* Assisting with personal care and hygiene
* Preparing meals and snacks
* Cleaning and maintaining the home
* Supporting with household chores
You will work closely with clients to understand their individual needs and develop a care plan tailored to their requirements. Your flexibility and adaptability are essential in this role, as you will be required to pivot between different tasks and priorities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (or equivalent)
* A current license and reliable vehicle
* Comprehensive insurance and a Working With Children Check
* First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Tech-savviness to handle a smartphone or tablet
