We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as General Manager In – Home Care leading the team who provide clinical case management and oversee high quality care delivery for our clients in their own home.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Client Officer, as General Manager In - Home Care you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight across all Community Aged Care programs, including the Commonwealth Home Support Program, the Support at Home program and private In-Home Care.
This role will drive service growth, ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, deliver exceptional client outcomes, and prepare the organisation for the evolving aged care landscape through sustainable service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
The General Manager - In Home Care is responsible for the team who develops and implements care plans in accordance with their client care and support needs.
The General Manager - In Home Care will lead innovation in care and service delivery models, embedding a culture of continuous improvement, and strengthening partnerships.
You will be responsible to ensure that Doutta Galla delivers Home Care Packages (HCP) and Support at Home (SaH) programs are delivered with excellent customer service for our consumers and adhering to the Aged Care Standards.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse Division 1 with current AHPRA Registration (with no conditions).
* Post Grad qualification in Business Management/Nursing (or a related discipline) highly regarded.
Skills and Experience
* Significant experience working in a senior management role that is required to comply with the regulatory frameworks for CHSP, HCP, and Support at Home, including the Aged Care Quality Standards.
* Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
* Strategic problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks while ensuring client safety and service quality.
* Demonstrated ability to drive strategic growth and manage change in a complex, evolving sector.
* Financial management skills, including budget development, monitoring, and reporting.
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship‐building abilities with clients, families, staff and funding bodies.
