The ecosystem of user interfaces, reporting, and business intelligence tools enables users to manage, view, and interrogate data relating to programs, projects, and domains, as well as a range of other Defence capabilities.
C1 is developed using a range of tools in the Microsoft technology stack, with Cognos Analytics providing the business intelligence and reporting platform. The Investment Portfolio Management Branch is responsible for maintenance, support, and business intelligence capability for the solution. As part of a sustainment and enhancement program focusing on business intelligence and reporting, C1 requires the skills of an experienced Technical Writer with broad experience in a similar technical environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following deliverables and activities:
In collaboration with the project team, stakeholders, and subject matter experts, develop, maintain, and organise procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation. This includes identifying and maintaining suitable document repositories. Develop written and visual products including: Technical documents relating to software applications and hardware; Software application-specific support guides; Technical architecture diagrams, business models, data flows, and information relationship models; Communication and change products including newsletters and presentations. Build a folio of standard templates for products such as Standard Operating Procedures, user support guides, and Frequently Asked Questions. The successful candidate is expected to exhibit the following behaviours:

Develop and maintain professional, respectful, and positive relationships with CapabilityOne users, product owners, and suppliers across Defence Groups.
