Specialised Services is one of South Australia's leading demolition and licensed asbestos removal contractors, delivering commercial, industrial and government projects across the state.
With established northern and southern depots, a strong in-house plant fleet, and a growing forward pipeline, we are now seeking a commercially driven Senior Estimator / Pre-Contracts Lead to take ownership of pricing, tender strategy and risk management across our demolition division.
This is a genuine leadership opportunity for someone ready to step up and make the role their own.
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for:
* Leading all demolition and asbestos tender submissions
* Developing pricing strategies that protect margin and manage risk
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, reports and hazardous material assessments
* Conducting site inspections and feasibility reviews
* Developing demolition methodology and sequencing strategies
* Assessing disposal pathways, compliance obligations and environmental risk
* Engaging with clients, consultants and suppliers
* Identifying commercial risks and cost efficiencies
* Supporting handover and setting projects up for operational success
This role includes private, commercial and government tendering environments.
Who This Role Suits
We are not looking for a junior estimator.
We are seeking someone who:
* Understands risk-based pricing and methodology development
* Is confident owning tenders from start to finish
* Is commercially sharp and margin-focused
* Wants to step into a leadership pathway
* Formal qualifications in Construction Management, Estimating, Civil or related fields are preferred, however extensive industry experience will be considered.
