About the role
The role of a lifeguard is to supervise the aquatic space while proactively ensuring a safe environment in and around the pool area, while anticipating and responding swiftly to issues which may arise.
Lifeguards are required to ensure facility rules are being followed, educate facility users about safe practices, and provide excellent customer service to all.
We currently have the following positions available to join our Venue Operations Team:
2 x Full Time Lifeguard Positions, 38 hours/week, must be available across all hours of operations.
Lifeguard shifts are across a variety of hours, ranging from 5am-10pm, including weekend work.

Commencing salary: $61,****** per annum, plus 12% Superannuation.
This position has been identified as a Child-Related position under Child Protection laws in NSW.
To be eligible to apply, you must provide Council with a valid Working with Children Check Number.
You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position for which you have applied.
Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes, you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council for review, in order to progress through the recruitment process.
