Indian Curry Cook Job Summary

The Indian Curry Cook is responsible for the preparation and cooking of various curry and tandoori dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

* Key Responsibilities:
* Plan menus and organize food preparation according to customer needs.
* Set up workstations with ingredients and equipment.
* Prioritize orders and manage menu rotation.
* Prepare specialized kitchen equipment and ingredients.
* Maintain a sanitized kitchen environment.
* Store food and other items properly.
* Prepare and cook custom menu items.
* Work collaboratively with other kitchen team members.
* Manage inventory levels and minimize waste.


Requirements

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

* Certificate IV in Cookery or above.
* Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine.
* Availability to work weekends and split shifts.
* Passion for food and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* At least two years of experience as a chef.
* Australian work rights.
