Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Service Desk Officer to join our client's team for an initial 3‐month contract and contribute to delivering exceptional customer support. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations by providing technical support and assistance to the internal teams. Your strong customer service orientation and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly will be essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
* Document, track, and monitor support requests to ensure timely resolution.
* Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of knowledge base articles.
* Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
* Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
* Proficient in troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems.
* Robust knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
* IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
