Within Technology Services, our five dynamic work units – Data, Architecture & Integration, Cyber Resilience, Digital Delivery & Innovation, Technology Platforms, and Operations & Services – work collaboratively to deliver high-impact solutions across the University.
We're now seeking a strategic and experienced Project Manager to lead complex, high-value technology projects that span multiple university domains including student services, learning platforms, research systems and enterprise transformation. Reporting to the Portfolio Delivery Principal, this is a hands-on leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape project outcomes and contribute to digital transformation at scale.
You will make an impact by:
* Leading complex end-to-end project delivery across core university platforms like TechnologyOne, Microsoft Dynamics, Blackboard, and MS Teams
* Establishing and embedding project management practices, governance frameworks and strategic delivery models across the University
* Managing cross-functional teams, vendors and stakeholders with authority, influence and purpose
* Coordinating risk, budget, change and communication strategies to ensure successful delivery of high-impact technology initiatives
* Contributing to the university's strategic planning and capability uplift in project and portfolio management
What you will bring
You're a confident and forward-thinking project leader who thrives in complex environments. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on expertise, and you're passionate about delivering real value through innovative, scalable, and inclusive solutions.
To succeed in this role, you will also need:
* A degree in Project Management, IT, Business or related field and ideally 6+ years of experience, including 3+ in Senior PM roles
* Deep knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMI, and demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-scale technology projects
* Experience managing projects involving platforms like TechnologyOne, Microsoft Dynamics, Blackboard, or similar
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and lead across academic and administrative portfolios
* Proven ability to manage budgets, risks, change, and vendor relationships with a strategic lens
