About Inspire Architectural
Inspire Architectural is the specification, design and influence arm of Selection Steel, supplying premium architectural cladding and roofing solutions to the Australian construction industry.
Operating as a separate branded front, Inspire works closely with residential builders, roofing contractors, rollformers and architects to influence product selection and drive demand for UniCote, VMZINC and Nordic Copper across residential, commercial and industrial projects.
The Role
As an Internal Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in supporting Inspire's external Business Development Managers while directly contributing to sales growth and project conversion.
This role works across the same client ecosystem as the external team, residential builders, roofing and cladding installers, rollformers and architects, providing technical support, qualifying opportunities and managing the project pipeline.
This is a proactive internal sales role, not a passive order-taking position.
What You'll Be Doing
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with:
* Residential builders
* Roofing and cladding installers
* Rollformers and fabricators
* Architects and designers
* Qualifying warm enquiries via phone and email
* Identifying and progressing sales and project opportunities
* Providing product information, technical guidance and support
* Assisting architects and designers with design challenges using Inspire's product range
* Supporting external Roofing / Architectural BDMs with project follow-up and opportunity management
* Maintaining accurate customer, project and pipeline data in the CRM
* Creating tasks and follow-ups for the Architectural / Roofing Sales Managers
* Supporting sales strategies through collaboration with the external team
* Keeping up to date with industry trends, competitors and market activity
* Assisting with general office and sales administration where required
What We're Looking For
* 1–2+ years' experience in sales or internal sales
* Experience in construction, building materials, roofing or cladding preferred
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* High attention to detail and strong CRM discipline
* Proactive mindset with a customer-first approach
* Ability to work independently while supporting a broader sales team
* Understanding of architectural cladding and roofing systems is a strong advantage
* Australian work rights required
