Due to a recent promotion, we currently have an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Assistant, to join our Finance Team in Ultimo.
Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:
- AR lead for end to end process of our large wholesalers including (but not limited to) Liquor Majors, Bidfood, Costco, Reject Shop, Aldi (600+ accounts)
- Ability to lead and analyze overdue accounts and proactively contact customers
- Collection of outstanding money ensuring customers remain within their approved terms
- Responding to customer queries and disputes of accounts
- Process claims and credit on time and resolve discrepancies
- Daily reconciliations using M3 ERP system and Promax
- Ensure ledger is monitored and processed when needed
We are looking for an energetic self-starter who possesses the following:
- Previous FMCG industry experience will be highly regarded
- Proven understanding of Accounting Receivable Function including claim processing
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and problem solving
- Highly computer literate, with intermediate experience in MS Office & Accounting software
- Strong clear communication skills with ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
