APCO Service Stations is growing — and so is Andersons Supermarket, our expanding grocery brand within the APCO network. We're on the lookout for an experienced Grocery Specialist / Visual Merchandiser to play a key role in shaping the future of our supermarkets.
Based at our Geelong Head Office, this hands-on role will work closely with the Business Development Manager to support, develop and elevate grocery standards across the network.
About the role:
You'll be the go-to expert for all things grocery, ensuring our stores look great, trade well and deliver a strong customer experience. This role blends strategy with on-the-ground execution.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the Business Development Manager across all Andersons Supermarket sites
* Driving best practice grocery standards, layouts and merchandising plans
* Developing and implementing planograms and visual merchandising guidelines
* Supporting store teams with ranging, space optimisation and presentation
* Identifying growth opportunities, category improvements and new concepts
* Conducting store visits, audits and coaching to lift performance
About you:
* Proven experience in grocery retail (supermarket or large-format retail essential)
* Strong visual merchandising and space planning skills
* Commercial mindset with a passion for presentation and results
* Confident working across multiple sites and stakeholder groups
* Highly organised, proactive and able to work autonomously
* Willingness to travel to stores as required within Victoria and interstate.
