Job Title: Lead Customer Solution Engineer
As a seasoned professional in renewable energy systems, you will be instrumental in designing and delivering commercial-scale battery energy storage systems. Your primary focus will be on leading technical design and optimization of large-scale solar and battery projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead technical design and optimization of large-scale solar and battery projects.
* Develop detailed electrical and system designs in accordance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and customer expectations.
* Oversee Safety in Design assessments and lead technical review meetings for commercial solar and battery projects.
* Contribute to PV and energy solution tender processes, including concept design, detailed documentation, and budget development.
* Partner with stakeholders to shape compelling technical and commercial offers for customers.
* Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to deliver practical, cost-effective, customer-focused solutions.
You are an experienced engineer with a deep understanding of renewable energy systems and a passion for sustainable innovation. You have 5+ years' experience designing and delivering commercial BESS (>100 kW) and solar PV systems (>100 kW). Proficiency with PVSyst, Helioscope, and AutoCAD (or similar design tools) is necessary. Demonstrated ability to develop accurate cost estimates from concept through delivery is required. Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative, customer-focused mindset are essential.
