The venue is owner-operated and pride themselves on providing a great family atmosphere. The venue offers a range of services while retaining their unique charm. Located off the Flinders Highway, the town is rich in history and offers many things to see and do on your days off, with both great culture and beautiful nature on display. 10 staff live and work on site Immediate Start Package: $64,000 - $70,000 Super Accommodation $100 per week - Own pub style room with share facilities, located upstairs of the hotel Discounted Meals 50% off Duties: Clean kitchen equipment and appliances, such as cutlery or dishes Keep food preparation areas clean Clean benchtops, floors, ovens and ranges Receive, lift, handle and store food deliveries Retrieve food items as requested by chefs Assist with food preparation, including: wash, peel and chop vegetables or fruit transfer, weigh and check supplies and equipment prepare ingredients for cooking, and prepare salads, savouries and sandwiches set up food and beverage trays for serving to customers cook, toast and heat food items as need Be keen to develop skills within the kitchen to higher level roles as needed. Wash dishes, pots and utensils Ensure working areas are kept clear and meet hygiene standards.
