Obstetrician & Gynaecologist Role Overview
Lead and manage the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department, planning, developing and providing safe, high quality, contemporary, comprehensive services at the primary facility and other facilities where applicable for optimal patient outcomes delivering a healthy community through quality care.
Providing and supporting training for clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and lead the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department
* Plan, develop and implement comprehensive services for optimal patient outcomes
* Provide and support training for clinicians
* Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality care
Requirements:
* Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
* Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
* Demonstrated leadership and management experience
* Effective clinical communication skills
* Commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement
