You will be responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support and engagement services to assist stakeholders and contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the blue card system.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support within prescribed timeframes to assessment officers and other staff in accordance with legislation, policy and operational guidelines.
* Draft, prepare and send correspondence to external stakeholders following established policy and guidelines to ensure appropriate release of information.
* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to convey accurate and relevant information regarding the blue card system and individual/organisation obligations pursuant to the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000.
* Document activities using record management systems including accurately file noting phone calls with Blue Card Services stakeholders in line with Departmental policy and legislative requirements.
* Use sound judgement to make timely and informed decisions to elevate urgent or complex matters.
* Manage workload independently and solve problems within established guidelines to achieve work targets and contribute to team goals.
* Contribute positively to a team environment through collaboration, teamwork, problem solving, innovation and achieving results.
