HammondCare's Respite Cottages provide short‐term accommodation and individualised support for older guests during stays of up to 10 nights. As a Casual Specialised Carer you'll play a vital role in delivering personalised care and creating a welcoming, home‐like environment.
About the Role
In this role you will provide care for our clients across our Wahroonga & Terrey Hills Cottages.
Hourly Rates $31.95 to $35.44 P/H + penalties
Shifts Include
1. 7.15am-14.45am - Morning shift
2. 14.45pm-21.45pm - Afternoon shift
3. 21.30pm-07.45am - Night shift
Ideally you will be able to work a mix of the above shifts.
Responsibilities
4. Provide personal care including grooming and hygiene
5. Deliver care in accordance with individual care plans
6. Support and care for guests during overnight or extended stays
7. Promote guest dignity and independence through daily activities
8. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in care professionally
What you need to apply
9. No formal qualification is necessary, however Certificate III Individual Support is an advantage
10. Available to work across our Wahroonga & Terrey Hill sites
11. First Aid certificate desirable
12. Empathy and compassion are a must
13. We provide job training as long as you have the willingness and desire to learn
14. Good administrative and computer skills, including the use of a smartphone
15. A strong team player, who can communicate professionally changes in care, complete all documentation, whilst maintaining confidentiality
