Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist
About the Role
This is a dynamic position that requires an individual with exceptional financial and administrative skills to enhance operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
* Manage wholesale market transactions, green certificate compliance, audits, and payment processing with high attention to detail.
* Provide operational support through office administration tasks, broker data management, payment processing, bookings, and miscellaneous activities.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure accurate storage, reconciliation, and settlement of wholesale market transactions while maintaining regulatory compliance.
* Administer and audit green certificate surrenders, including tracking, documentation, and compliance reporting for environmental regulations.
* Handle payment and reconciliation of network and metering invoices, ensuring accuracy and contract alignment.
* Manage purchase orders, supplier payments, customer payment allocations, suspense accounts, and deliver accurate, timely reports while resolving discrepancies.
Key Requirements
* At least 1 year's experience in finance administration or a similar role.
* Experience using Excel or Google Sheets.
* A high level of organisation, ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Degree in finance, accounting or similar (desirable).
