About the role
TAB Resources Pty Ltd is seeking a number of Experienced Underground Electrical & Mechanical Tradespeople across multiple Underground Coal Mining projects in New South Wales. In these roles, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and supporting electrical and mechanical systems across a range of underground mining sites.
What we're looking for
Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Minimum 2 years' experience in Underground Coal Mining
Mining induction (can be obtained after hiring)
Certificate of proficiency in an
Electrical
or
Mechanical (Fitter)
trade
Sound knowledge of underground mining equipment and machinery
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Successful applicants will be required to undertake an Order 43 medical, including drug and alcohol.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, candidates with the following qualifications will be highly regarded:
EEHA
(Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas)
CPR/LVR
(Low Voltage Rescue & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
Hydraulics Level 1 & 2
DES
(Explosion Protected Diesel Engine Systems Maintenance)
