Role Overview
The Fleet Workshop Manager role is a pivotal leadership position overseeing the daily operations of a fleet maintenance workshop, ensuring safe efficient and high-quality servicing of vehicles and equipment.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead a team of skilled technicians and mechanics to deliver best value manage workshop resources and maintenance expenditure.
* Ensure compliance with safety environmental and legislative standards collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to optimise fleet performance.
* Drive a culture of Zero Harm and continuous improvement plan and allocate work orders based on team capacity and skills.
* Monitor and report on workshop KPIs and performance maintain strong client relationships and deliver services with minimal disruption.
Essential Requirements
* A trade qualification or Heavy Commercial Vehicle experience with previous exposure to civil construction equipment highly regarded.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience managing fleet maintenance or workshop operations strong leadership communication and planning skills required.
