Job Responsibilities
* We lead and oversee the full production process from vineyard to bottle.
* We manage our bottling line with focus on efficiency.
* We create superior wines from vineyard to bottle.
* We oversee daily winemaking operations focusing on quality control and sustainability.
* We work closely with the viticulture team to balance grape quality, yield, and production efficiency.
* We plan, schedule, and coordinate vintage operations.
* We organize monthly and annual winemaking schedules and logistics.
* We participate in tastings and evaluations providing recommendations on treatments and analysis.
* We maintain winery presentation, hygiene, and equipment, including audits and servicing.
Additional Responsibilities
* We assist with wine-related events and cellar door experiences.
* We support sales and marketing with tasting notes, in-store tastings, brand awareness initiatives and team education.
Requirements
* 3-5+ years winemaking experience as sole winemaker or under Senior Winemaker (cool climate experience highly regarded).
* Bottling line experience and strong track record in cellar operations.
* Ability to take direction and feedback onboard ensuring excellence and innovation.
* Ability to balance autonomy with collaboration and shared accountability.
* Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commercial acumen.
* Great communication skills and ability to coach, support, and lead teams.
* Proactive disciplined approach with willingness to roll up sleeves to support wider team when needed.
