As a Teacher at Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School you will be responsible for delivering quality teaching and learning experiences that develop students' learning potential. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly experienced and vibrant team implementing a comprehensive music program with a strong foundation in choral, band and dance performance. This is a fixed term position commencing in Term 4 2025, with the possibility of extension for the 2026 academic year.

The salary will be commensurate with the successful applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience, based on the teaching salaries outlined in the Independent Schools NSW Teachers Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025 ($90,100 - $127,281).

Key Responsibilities

* Planning and delivery of engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
* Monitoring student progress through data analysis and assessment outcomes, using this information to inform teaching practices and interventions.
* Encouraging an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and nurtures creativity and appreciation of the Performing Arts among students.
* Liaising with parents, carers and guardians to promote understanding of the importance of Performing Arts education.


Required Skills

* An innovative and exciting educator who has a passion for fostering a lifelong love of music in our students
* Ability to teach across the full range of performing arts subjects, preferably with the ability to teach the HSC course
* Demonstrated understanding of the Performing Arts syllabus documents and assessment strategies.
* Demonstrated excellence and proficiency as a classroom teacher.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in using educational technology and digital resources.


Required Experience

* A minimum five years experience teaching music at a secondary level is preferred.
* Appropriate Bachelor's degree in education or a related field and NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.
