Based in our Minto Streets factory, we are looking to hire casual ice cream packers to join our family due to increased production requirements.
Packers assist the machine operators in packaging finished ice cream products on the production line.
We are operational 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Working in 12-hour Shifts.
Day Shift - 6am until 6pm & Night Shift 6pm until 6am
You will need to be available for the full shift either days or night (preferably both), for a minimum of 3 days per week. This is a casual position and work is offered on an on call basis due to business needs. There is no guarantee of work each week.
The Hourly Rate is 29.90 (includes casual loading) + Shift Loadings for Nights or Weekend work.
What is Involved?
Package ice cream into boxes as they are processed from the production line
Operate machinery in line with company requirements to assist in the process, delivery and making of ice cream or ice cream products
Conduct cleaning across your product line including daily cleaning and weekly deep cleans.
Maintain machinery to the prescribed standards and levels of cleanliness.
Ensure the optimal usage of the resources, minimising waste during production
You are responsible for the protected operation of the equipment focused on quality standards and efficiency.
What we need?
Ability to stand on your feet for the duration of your shift
Participate in a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing. Streets has a zero tolerance to drugs and does random drug testing
Have a minimum of 2 COVID vaccinations
Have full-time working rights to work within Australia
Ability to work 12 hour shifts
