Senior Manager, Finance & Accounting - APAC
Energy Vault is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance & Accounting - APAC to lead accounting, treasury, and business analytics for Energy Vault's Australia subsidiary. This role partners with the SVP Finance & Accounting on financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and project accounting oversight. You will coordinate internal controls, statutory reporting, and tax compliance; collaborate with outsourced tax advisors, external auditors, banks, and insurers. The ideal candidate has experience in financial reporting for fast-growing organizations.

Your Impact
Lead accounting, treasury, and analytics for the Australia entity; ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and project accounting oversight; maintain internal controls and compliance; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
* Assist SVP, Finance and Director, Finance & Accounting in monthly GL close and consolidation for the Australian subsidiary.
* Prepare monthly financial statements and maintain GL for the Australian subsidiary.
* Oversee local statutory reporting, compliance, and going‑concern assessment for the Australian entity.
* Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors; ensure GST, payroll, and income tax compliance.
* Prepare reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
* Manage accounts payable and the payment calendar.
* Coordinate with Project Delivery and Project Accounting on project costs tracking.
* Coordinate with Procurement on purchase order review and status.
* Coordinate with People (HR) on payroll.
* Prepare weekly cash flow and AP status reports.
* Maintain SOX 404 compliance for the Australian entity; implement policies and internal controls.
* Manage local banking and insurance relationships; resolve issues.
* Maintain bond and letter of credit listings; support bond portfolio.
* Participate in budget planning.
* Assist with monthly rolling forecasts and management reports.
* Assist with financial modeling for business development and ad hoc analyses.
* Assist business leaders in Australia with pro forma and financial analysis for new initiatives and projects.
* Provide cross‑functional accounting and finance support to Engineering, Product Development, Marketing, Project Management, and Sales.
Your Background
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
* CPA preferred (not required).
* 8+ years in accounting with progressive responsibility, including financial reporting.
* Public accounting (audit) and construction/EPC experience preferred.
* Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS preferred.
* Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
* Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 10%.
* Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
