About The Role
Katherine Salvos Stores are looking for a community-minded Casual Sales Assistant to join our friendly team. In this role, you will support the Store Manager with day-to-day operations and help create a positive, welcoming experience for customers, donors and community members.
Responsibilities
Helping customers at the counter and operating Point-of-Sale systemsReceiving, sorting and pricing donationsSupporting visual merchandising and keeping the store looking greatProviding warm, helpful and inclusive customer serviceEnsuring products are displayed in the right areasFollowing all safety proceduresLiving out The Salvation Army’s values in your everyday work
About You
You don’t need retail experience to apply; we are looking for the right attitude and a commitment to supporting the Katherine community.
You Will Have
Great customer service skills and a positive attitudeRetail experience is preferred, but not essentialWillingness to learn and contribute to a small, supportive teamEnergy, enthusiasm and a hands-on approachThe ability to communicate well with a wide range of peopleFlexibility to work a rotating roster (including some Saturdays)Alignment with our values: integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration and diversity
