About the Role
The Head of the Department of Radiology holds responsibility as the medical leader and manager of the clinical services, medical staff, training, research and quality programs within the Department of Radiology at the Coffs Harbour Health Campus. The Director will work within the Coffs Harbour Health Campus Medical Imaging Stream to ensure departmental activities align with broader MNCLHD objectives.
The Department of Radiology provides extensive patient services and has a high academic profile in teaching, education and research, supporting a busy diagnostic and interventional Radiology service.
The Medical Department Head will collaborate with medical, radiography, nursing and allied health colleagues to promote evidence-based practice and innovation, enhance clinical engagement and uphold professional standards. They will foster a culture of respect, teamwork and continuous performance improvement.
