Overview
City of Nedlands Volunteer Program – Nedlands WA
All aboard and join our dedicated team of bus drivers with the Nedlands Library Service. You will be required on a Monday morning to pick up clients in our 12-seater van from their homes and bring them to the Nedlands Library. Working with a volunteer bus assistant, you will make sure the clients are safe and comfortable. Once at the Library you will help organise the morning tea while the clients look for their books. The driver and bus assistant sit with the clients and enjoy a morning tea. You will then make sure everyone returns home safely. You will be managed by the Library Bus Service Supervisor and will be put on a roster. The bus is picked up from the City of Nedlands Works Depot on the corner of Broome St and Carrington St Nedlands. A full driving and vehicle induction will be provided. You need a valid 'C' class driver's licence to drive the van (the same class to drive a car).
