Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team in a newly established childcare centre. As a Chef, you will be responsible for designing and preparing nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements and promote healthy eating habits among children.

You will work collaboratively with educators to promote nutrition education and develop menus that cater to various cultural preferences and dietary needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Chef/Cook, preferably in a childcare or similar environment. A Certificate in Food Handling/Safety is mandatory, and strong knowledge of nutrition for children is essential.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and prepare fresh meals and snacks daily for up to 120 children.
* Cater to various dietary needs, allergies, and cultural preferences.
* Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation.
* Collaborate with educators to promote healthy eating and nutrition education.
* Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
* Efficiently order, manage, and rotate stock.
Requirements and Skills:
* Experience as a Chef/Cook, preferably in childcare or similar environment.
* Certificate in Food Handling/Safety (mandatory).
* Strong knowledge of nutrition for children.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
