Electrification Engineer Position

We are looking for an engineer to support the development of advanced power conversion systems.
This role will involve designing and developing power conversion systems for various products, including off-board DC chargers, automated and manual connection systems, bi-directional inverters, and related controls/operational interfaces.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cooling, battery, power conversion, and controls teams along with purchasing and validation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop test plans, validation procedures, and documentation to ensure functional and performance compliance.
* Design, model, and simulate power electronics systems using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or LTspice.
* Collaborate with design engineers to ensure smooth transition from design to validation and production.
* Interface with suppliers and internal manufacturing teams for design for testability (DFT) and design for manufacturing (DFM).
* Maintain rigorous safety protocols during high voltage testing activities.
Requirements:
* Hands-on experience with converter/inverter prototyping, test benches, and debugging.
* Strong understanding of DC-DC converters, AC-DC inverters, magnetics, and control algorithms.
* Proficiency in using lab instruments and data acquisition tools.
* Familiarity with simulation tools and experience with standards and compliance for power electronics systems.
