Reporting into the Finance Manager of this small and growing boutique property group, this is a varied, challenging role, with an expanding Australian firm. This is a critical role, bridging the gap between head office and the Firm's assets, in providing high quality accounting support and analytical input to the Property Managers.
You'll be responsible for review of monthly management reports, P&L analysis and provision of commentary on variances, in order to deliver effective decision support to your business stakeholders.
You will also handle onboarding & integration of newly acquired asset, as well as budgeting and forecasting. Whilst you'll be required to deliver ad hoc reporting and analysis when required and be heavily involved in projects and process improvement initiatives.
You are a CA/CPA qualified candidate (or near qualified), with strong background in property. This could mean you are a property accountant, financial or management accountant within property sector, or even a first mover from a big 4 or mid tier firm, with property clients.
Crucially you'll have a natural ability to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders, an articulate, professional communication style, strong analytical capabilities and excellent Excel skills.
