About the Role
This role involves technical planning, design, engaging geotechnical consultants and coordination, with a strong emphasis on design sequencing and effective stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting the Wambo Tailings Rehabilitation Project while providing support for broader mining initiatives across Australia as required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead mining engineering and technical support for the Wambo Tailings Rehabilitation Projects.
* Develop and manage designs operational sequencing plans.
* Liaise with open cut mine operators to coordinate mine waste material supply logistics.
* Provide engineering technical support into mining infrastructure designs at other Peabody Operations in Australia.
* Collaborate with site teams project stakeholders to ensure alignment operational environmental objectives.
