As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you’ll deliver expert, compassionate care to geriatric consumers in their homes and communities, helping them maintain dignity, safety, and quality of life. About the Role: Based across Modbury Hospital and Lionsgate Business Park, within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network, you'll provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to geriatric patients in their home environment. This role combines clinical expertise with community-based care, helping older adults maintain independence and improve their quality of life in familiar surroundings. Within the role of the Senior Occupational Therapist you will: Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments in patients' homes Develop and implement individualised treatment plans for geriatric clients Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care Provide equipment recommendations and home modification advice Support patients and families through education and training This role will require you to visit our patients in their homes and as such, a current valid drivers licence is necessary for the role. About You: You will have a degree in Occupational Therapy, and be eligible for and/or hold current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field are highly desirable. You will have extensive clinical experience, including program evaluation and service development, within geriatric or community-based occupational therapy.
