More Information The core purpose of this role is to implement the approved training program for the Squad.
In conjunction with the CEO and Program Coach, coaching our Senior Development and Junior Gold Squads you will also assist and oversee the transitions of athletes from the Development Squad and athletes moving through to higher level squads.
Coaching Assist the athletes with goal setting and provide constructive feedback Develop programs for squad members to assist in meeting their individual needs Attend all pre-approved target meets with squad members Assess and advise transition of athletes from Development and Country Squads through to State Squad in conjunction with CEO and other Coach's.
Program Development Liaise with the CEO on all matters relating to coaching for approval Assist with training and retention of athletes directed by the CEOContribute to development, junior development and transition squad coaching and programming decisions in consultation with the CEO Communication & Public Relations Maintain effective communication with athletes, parents and instructors on program content Communicate relevant details for meets, carnivals and clinics as approved by the Competitions Committee Keep records of squad attendance and ensure all key squad information is accurate and up to date for Swimming Administrators Essential Requirements First Aid Certificate Qualified SWIM Australia Teacher or equivalent Current Provide/Perform CPR Development Swimming Coach Accreditation Advanced Swimming Coach Accreditation Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check Drivers Licence
