We are seeking a proactive and talented individual to join our Client's high-performing team on site. Reporting to the Superintendent Technology Operations. We are looking for individuals who enjoy troubleshooting, problem solving and are keen to apply those skills to real world challenges. Working on a world class site, you'll play a key role in ensuring our Operational Technology systems function seamlessly to support safe and efficient operations. This position is based at remotely and operates on 7 on / 7 off roster (day shift/night shift rotation), with flexible options for residential, Drive in Drive out (DIDO/BIBO) from South Australia regional areas or Fly In Fly out (FIFO) from Adelaide.
About the Role
In this role you, your activities will cover:
Responsibilities
* Ensure an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development

* Support our Coach team members through Investigate and identify the root cause of related downtime caused by control systems while identifying and executing solutions to prevent repeat events from occurring.
* Carry out preventative maintenance and routine inspections of process control equipment.
* Execute control systems design and commissioning for minor plant modifications and new equipment installation.
* Initiate and implement minor control systems improvement work to achieve safer and more reliable plant, thereby maintaining and improving process efficiencies, in line with our business plan.
* Support production teams in troubleshooting and problem solving
* Execute work orders as per schedule and/or as directed by the Technology supervisor and completing the relevant work instructions associated with the work orders.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Electrical or Mechatronic or Control Systems or Process Engineering or Trade qualifications in Electrical or Instrumentation discipline.
* Candidates with extensive Control Systems experience will also be considered favourably.
Required Skills
* Experience in solving multi-faceted problems.
* Experience in instrumentation and hardware troubleshooting highly regarded.
* Excellent communication skills and focus on delivering for our customers.
* Takes ownership of ideas/solutions and sees them through to maturity.
* Collaborative approach to problem-solving and relationship building.
* Strong PLC programming and hardware configuration skills as well as SCADA programming skills (must be experienced across the Rockwell Automation product suite and Citect SCADA/PlantSCADA).
* Demonstrated previous experience in Field Communication protocols: DeviceNet, EthernetIP, Profibus, & Modbus.
* Australian C class driver's license.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in instrumentation and hardware troubleshooting highly regarded.
