**Logistics Field Representative (HATS - Helicopter Aircrew Training System)**

**About the opportunity**

Airbus Australia has an opportunity for a Logistics Field Representative to join our team in Nowra.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Manager MS&L Civil Helicopters, you will be responsible to provide proactive Logistics Field Representative and Material Support services to our customers (internal and/or external) by establishing customer relationships through collaboration to understand and anticipate their operational requirements.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Act as a first level of support for material support and logistics requests and updates with customers (e.g., DBA/HATS) and providing seamless communication between the local and overseas Customer Logistics team and customer.
- Be the main interface between BDA/HATS, AHD/AHD and Airbus AP (incl but not limited to Civil Helicopters).
- Attend customer main base(s) regularly (as agreed with Mgmt.) with potential travel to other bases on a required basis.
- Regularly engage with customer(s) to understand and anticipate their operational and material support requirements.
- Provide support and advice to customers regarding stock collection and inventory management.
- Optimise logistics operations in collaboration with customer's personnel for spares and repairs flows (from inbound to outbound).
- Participate to periodic logistic follow-up meetings with Customer's staff and Airbus Helicopters central team.
- Manage MRO orders and liaise with the vendors and the customers for MRO opportunities.

As the Logistics Field Representative, you will work in close collaboration with the Customer Logistics team, Manager MS&L Civil Helicopters, Customer Support Managers and Senior Managers for the related accounts providing alternative solutions to meet customer requirements. You will engage with customer(s) and MS&L team to do advanced/complex problem-solving and escalate anything beyond this level. This role is responsible to take ownership of customer relationships and requirements as assigned and beyond in support of the MS&L team and objectives.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to have excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build long-lasting and collaborative relationships. You will be able to anticipate and manage conflicting priorities on a daily basis to continually satisfy responsibilities. This role requires you to be a forthright, confident, and open communicator with the ability to convey messages clearly, concisely and persuasively.

You will need to be someone who is able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment.

The skills, knowledge and experience best suited to this role include:

- Graduate Certificate/Advance Diploma in Customer Relationship Management, Material Support and Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales and Services, etc. and/or equivalent industry knowledge and experience.
- 5 years' experience in customer service and sales activities across aviation and/or other industry sectors (i.e., automotive, industry, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience in using SAP as ERP.
- Broad knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations (e.g., CASA, EASA, NZCAA, FAA, ITAR, export and import controls, etc.).
- Proven knowledge and experience with non-conformance and customer requirement management systems (e.g., Salesforce, etc.).
- Ability to resolve advanced/complex customer requirements and unblock critical situations, with strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

It would be desirable that you also have:

- High level of competence using the Airbus Helicopters Advanced Planning System (APS) or the ability and desire to learn it.
- Knowledge or experience working in other functions such as maintenance, repair, overhaul, technical support, commercial or similar.
- Graduate Certificate/Advance Diploma in Business Administration, Leadership and Management, or similar vocational training.
- Graduate Certificate/Advance Diploma in Data Science/Management or equivalent
