Overview
Private Equity Associate | Up to $150/hr | Remote
Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. This role is a contract, remote position focused on evaluating and shaping AI-driven financial models in collaboration with AI research teams.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate financial models in Restructuring & Distressed Investing, PIPE, IPO modeling, and Derivatives.
- Review financial strategies in Biotech, Gaming & Lodging, Telecom, Media & Entertainment, and Transportation & Logistics.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance the accuracy of financial model outputs.
- Develop and implement evaluation rubrics for assessing AI-generated financial models.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and improve AI model performance.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Must-Have: At least 2 years of experience in investment banking or private equity.
- Experience in Restructuring & Distressed Investing, PIPE, IPO modeling, or Derivatives.
- Experience in Biotech, Gaming & Lodging, Telecom, Media & Entertainment, or Transportation & Logistics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with AI-generated content in finance.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Engagement Details
- Compensation: $150/hour
- Remote work available
- Contract type: At-will contractor
- Payment via Stripe Connect, weekly based on logged hours
- Not supporting H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates
