Prisma Technologies | Wollongong NSW | Full Time
Prisma Technologies is seeking a confident and technically capable Technical Solutions Engineer to support customer enquiries, deliver demonstrations, provide product training and help showcase our technical capability as we continue to grow.
This is a customer-facing engineering role focused on solution consulting, demonstrations, training and technical support rather than product design or drone manufacturing.
You will work closely with our technical leadership team to help manage growing technical demand, support customers through evaluation and deployment, and strengthen Prisma's reputation as a trusted technical solutions provider.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with advanced technology, presenting solutions to customers and being hands-on with real-world deployments.

• Wearing multiple hats when required
• Taking initiative rather than waiting for direction
• Adapting as the business grows
• Working closely with leadership
• Being hands-on rather than highly siloed

• Prepare quotes and solution recommendations
• Conduct demonstrations and trials
• Deliver customer product training
• Support onboarding and early deployment

• Physics or applied science background
• Experience with drones or robotics
• Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) or willingness to obtain one
• Experience delivering technical training
• Experience running demonstrations
Who This Role Is Best Suited For
This role is best suited to someone who enjoys both technology and customer interaction. It is not a pure engineering design role and not a pure sales role — it sits between the two.
You will likely thrive in this role if you are someone who:
• Thinks in a structured and methodical way
• Is technically capable but practical
• Takes ownership rather than waiting for direction
• Is comfortable working in a small, fast-moving business
• Is comfortable supporting senior technical leadership
• Has a low-ego, team-first mindset
• Is confident presenting to customers
• Is naturally curious and enjoys learning new technology
• Wants to help build something rather than just do a job
What We Offer
